Who We Are

The Parents’ Committee of The Lester B. Pearson School Board is represented by parents who are elected at the general assemblies held each year at the schools of the LBPSB.

The committee meets no fewer than six times a school year. Subcommittees representing Elementary and secondary schools, the Special Needs Advisory Committee (SNAC), Communications, English Parents (EPCA) and others meet as required.

The LBPSB Parents’ Committee meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the LBPSB Boardroom, 1925 Brookdale Avenue, Dorval. or via zoom.

Commissioners representing the Parents' Committee

Parents in attendance at the Parents’ Committee Annual General Assembly (AGA) elect three members to serve as Commissioners Representing the Parents’ Committee on the LBPSB Council of Commissioners.

The following three Commissioners Representing the Parents’ Committee were elected at the 2020 PC Annual General Assembly:

The Commissioner Representing the Parents of Special Needs is selected by the Special Needs Advisory Committee Annual General Assembly and approved at the Parents’ Committee Annual General Assembly.
