Message from the Chair

In an effort to maximize parental involvement, the Lester B Pearson School Board Parents' Committee has been restructured to more effectively address the diversity of the parent community. This new structure also allows for more exciting, flexible subcommittees with varying pursuits, but with the common goal of ensuring student success.

Reaffirming the Committee's focus on efficiency and communication, our desire is to produce a more informed and engaged parent community. We believe that the more informed the parent, the greater will be their child(ren)’s prospects and achievements. Finally, it is our vision for the PC to establish and maintain a platform which facilitates a line of communication connecting every parent with the necessary and most valuable resources to guarantee their child(ren)'s academic enrichment and success.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and honor of serving you as the Chair of this year's newly restructured Parents' Committee. I look forward to another successful year.
